Key-Link American Series horizontal cable railing typically runs $160–195 per foot in materials.

Do I have to use Key-Link's cable with the system?

Key-Link's cable railing hardware is tailored to the precise tolerances of their provided stainless steel cable. Using cable from a different manufacturer may lead to improper fitting grip and could affect your warranty.

Why are posts and cable sold separately?

Posts and cable are sold separately so cable can be routed efficiently through Key-Link's system, and so you only buy the posts your layout actually needs.

Yes. Use the stair bracket set for common angles and wedges or swivel brackets for out of plane angles. Keep spacing at 2 7/8 inches on center.

Is this cable rail kit code compliant

Yes. Designed to meet International Residential Code at 36 and 42 inches and International Building Code at 42 inches when installed correctly.
