At the core of Key-Link's horizontal cable railing systems is one of the industry's best engineered cable railing post systems. Key-Link's posts work in concert to reduce installation time and provide the industry's longest cable span; up to 100’. End posts have cable components concealed inside the post, allowing for cable tensioning without seeing exposed fittings. Corner posts and upgraded line posts have preinstalled stainless steel channels that allow cable to be easily strung around corners and downstairs without termination or double posting. Use the drilled line posts anywhere cable doesn’t change direction to help reduce system cost.
All posts have a thick-walled aluminum construction and high-quality powder AAMA powder coated finish. The fittings are made of marine grade 316 stainless steel. Hole spacing is 2-7/8" to ensure cable stays code compliant even with seasonal movement and cable deflection. Surface mounted posts have welded plates that exceed building code requirements.
