The Shipping Process
We’re excited that you’re ready to take the next step and place your order. Unlike your typical your Amazon delivery, the driver won’t be able to hide your new railing behind the plant on your porch. It is important that you understand the LTL delivery process, and your role in receiving your order.
LTL or Less than Truckload Delivery
In the event you place an order for deck railing, your order will be delivered LTL, or less than truckload. Once your order is placed, it will be picked up by one of the many freight companies that our brokerage utilizes. These freight companies are not familiar with our specific product and that’s where YOU come in!
The Receiving Process
When purchasing from INSO Supply, it extremely important that you understand that you must be available for delivery.
Our default LTL service includes tailgate delivery. Once the truck driver arrives, your order will be pulled to the back of the truck and lowered to the ground. The pallet will be unloaded in your driveway where the package can be broken down.
IMPORTANT
Once the order is grounded it is your responsibility to inspect the product for damage. If there appears to be no transportation damage to the product, please sign for the delivery and let the driver be on his or her way.
After inspecting the for damage, confirm that the pallet contents match your shipping list. This is your one chance to verify that everything shipped complete.
Back ordered product
In the event you have product back ordered product, you will see a difference in the “Ordered” and “Shipped” columns. Because of this, please check your product in using the “Shipped” column. For example, if you ordered a quantity of two Outlook 6’ Level Railing kits and only one shipped, your packing slip would reflect:
Ordered – 2, Shipped – 1
Backordered product may be shipping from another warehouse or directly from our vendor partners.
